The Ministry Conducted Damage Assessment Studies in 10 Provinces

Environment and Urbanization Minister Murat Kurum announced that damage assessment work was carried out in 10 buildings with 7 personnel in 100 provinces.

Minister Kurum made the following statements in his statement on his social media account: “Our damage assessment works continue in the earthquake zone with 7 thousand 100 personnel. 387 thousand 346 buildings were examined. According to our findings so far, there are 50 thousand 576 buildings that need to be demolished urgently. 279 buildings are slightly damaged or undamaged. We will quickly demolish what needs to be demolished and build safe houses.

Hatay; 49 independent units in 470 buildings were examined. 183 thousand 291 independent units in 10 thousand 911 buildings should be demolished immediately, 54 independent units in 468 thousand 34 buildings with little or no damage.

Gaziantep; 130 thousand 331 independent units in 487 thousand 814 buildings were examined. 11 thousand 922 independent units in 27 thousand 987 buildings should be demolished immediately, 96 thousand 881 independent units in 402 thousand 619 buildings with little or no damage.

Adiyaman; 28 thousand 766 independent units in 102 thousand 932 buildings were examined. 6 thousand 108 independent units in 28 thousand 265 buildings should be demolished immediately, 16 thousand 919 independent units in 50 thousand 22 buildings with little or no damage.

Kahramanmaras; 57 thousand 87 independent units in 222 thousand 863 buildings were examined. 10 thousand 777 independent units in 53 thousand 227 buildings should be demolished immediately, 37 thousand 570 independent units in 139 thousand 19 buildings with little or no damage.

Malatya; 25 independent units in 311 buildings were examined. 152 thousand 688 independent units in 6 thousand 599 buildings should be demolished urgently, 38 thousand 568 independent units in 12 thousand 612 buildings with little or no damage.

Osmaniye; 28 thousand 317 independent units in 91 thousand 999 buildings were examined. 2 thousand 122 independent units in 8 thousand 491 buildings should be demolished immediately, 24 thousand 454 independent units in 78 thousand 354 buildings with little or no damage.

Diyarbakir; 24 thousand 314 independent units in 262 thousand 702 buildings were examined. 520 thousand 6 units in 69 buildings should be demolished urgently, 20 thousand 838 independent units in 236 thousand 325 buildings are slightly damaged or undamaged.

Elazig; 2 independent units in 488 buildings were examined. 24 thousand 734 independent units in 587 buildings should be demolished urgently, 3 thousand 675 independent units in 659 thousand 19 buildings with little or no damage.

Report; 3 thousand 748 independent units in 23 thousand 901 buildings were examined. 585 independent units in 905 buildings should be demolished urgently, 2 thousand 807 in 21 thousand 520 buildings with little or no damage.

Adana; 5 thousand 797 independent units in 106 thousand 474 buildings were examined. 46 independent sections in 1074 buildings should be demolished immediately, 5 thousand 225 independent units in 97 thousand 539 buildings with little or no damage.”
