ABB Sends Showers, Mobile Laundry and Barbershop to Kahramanmaraş

Continuing its efforts to heal the wounds of the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality is establishing a shower area with a capacity of 100 people in the region.

Announcing that the shower areas will be completed this weekend, ABB President Mansur Yavaş said, “Our mobile shower / laundry / barber centers, which we converted from our idle buses, will also start service as soon as possible”.

After the earthquakes on February 6, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality took action to solve the hygiene and washing problem, which is one of the biggest needs of the citizens in the disaster area.

100 PEOPLE CAPACITY SHOWER AREA IS INSTALLED

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced that they built shower areas with a capacity of 1 people in Kahramanmaraş. In his post on his social media accounts, Yavaş said, “This weekend, we are completing the shower areas with a total capacity of 100 people, each of 50 people in the women's and men's sections that we prepared in Kahramanmaraş. Our mobile shower / laundry / barber centers, which we converted from our idle buses, will also start service as soon as possible”.

EGO BUSES TURNED INTO SHOWER, LAUNDRY AND BERBER

Environmental Protection and Control Department teams; It transformed 10 busses of the General Directorate of EGO, which have reached the end of their useful life, into mobile showers, mobile barbers and mobile laundry for the use of citizens in the earthquake area.

As the transformation is completed, the mobile showers with a capacity of 6 people set out towards the earthquake zones, and there are also sinks, shampoo, soap, hair dryer and towels.

Two barbers will work in the mobile barber sent for the use of earthquake victims.
