After the earthquake disaster in Kahramanmaraş, the stray animals living in the region were not forgotten. Mamasepeti.com and HAÇİKO signed a meaningful cooperation and rolled up their sleeves for 50 tons of food support.

After the 11 major earthquakes affecting 2 provinces centered in Kahramanmaraş, Mamasepeti and the Association for the Protection of Animals from Helplessness and Apathy (HAÇİKO) announced that a total of 1 tons of food aid will be provided to the provinces in the earthquake region in 50 year. Ömür Gedik and Sinan Timuçin stated that the first truck set out with their cooperation.

Ömür Gedik: “Street animals need us”

Reminding that there was a great destruction in the earthquake area, HAÇİKO President Ömür Gedik said, “Condolences to the whole of Turkey. In the aftermath of this destruction, all of the stray animals that have the habit of feeding from restaurants and homes are now hungry. They don't even have trash left to mix up. It will be restructured. And during this time, we need to be with the living beings there. We will continue to distribute food to both shelters and stray animals. Sinan Timuçin will send 3 tons of food to the earthquake zone every month. As HAÇİKO and Mamasepeti.com, we will provide this to our animals in need. Our first trucks are on their way. We will do our best without separating animals as human beings," he said.

Sinan Timuçin: “We will donate 50 tons of food”

Sinan Timuçin, owner of Mamasepeti, said, “We are having a difficult time. Our people are struggling with a great disaster. Apart from helping our people, we will also support our stray animals. I would like to thank Ömür Gedik, with his help, we will donate 50 tons of food to the provinces in the earthquake zone. Our first trucks are on their way. As Mamasepeti, we will be in the earthquake zone. We are always ready for duty for all needs," he said.
