A New Year's Eve event was organized for students at the Keçiören Municipality Yücel Hacaloğlu Public Library. Students from KPSS, LGS and YKS preparatory groups made a fun and enthusiastic entrance to the new year by singing songs. While the New Year's draw was held at the event, three lucky students were given books. Popcorn and cotton candy were also served at the celebration, where wishes were made by cutting a cake.
Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok wished success to the students celebrating the New Year in the library and said, “We provide many services for our children and youth, who are the future of our state and nation. We opened libraries in many points of Keçiören. We provide free tutoring services at our Tepebaşı Course Center. We give scholarships to our university students every month. Our KEDEM Course Centers offer study opportunities for our children. We provide completely free service. I congratulate our students who entered the new year with an enthusiastic celebration in our Yücel Hacaloğlu Public Library. that 2023 will bring goodness and beauty to our state, our nation and all humanity; I hope it will be a year in which our students will also be able to reap the rewards of their efforts.” said.
