Domestic Goods Week Celebrated in Keçiören ÇEM

The Attitude, Investment and Turkish Goods Week (Domestic Goods Week) was celebrated at the Child Education Center (CEM), which operates at the Yunus Emre Cultural Center in the District, within the Keçiören Municipality. In this context, food and beverages made using local products were consumed by teachers and parents. The little students, who read poems and sang songs that draw attention to the consumption of local products, experienced the pleasure of consuming dozens of foods and witnessed an unforgettable day with musical entertainment. Parents also attended the Domestic Goods Week celebrations held in classrooms decorated with colorful decorations.

Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok, who said that the domestic products produced in Turkey should have an important place in the consumption habits of the Turkish Society and that this is important in national development, said, “We would like to thank our teachers and parents who organized the event as part of the Domestic Goods Week. The importance of being frugal and using local products was explained to our students. If we instill in them the importance of consuming local and national products from a young age, we will raise generations devoted to our state and nation. We must protect our own producers, industrialists and traders and buy the products they produce.” said.
