Avcılar Şükrübey Metrobus stop will be renewed with the decision of IMM Transportation and Traffic Regulation Commission. The overpass will be made suitable for disabled transportation. The dismantling of the existing old overpass will take place on Sunday, December 25. The work is planned to take 6 days. During the study, BRT passengers will use alternative overpasses.
The Şükrübey pedestrian overpass connecting Avcılar Reşit Paşa Street and Manolya Street will be made suitable for disabled access. Transitions to the Metrobus will be provided from the other pedestrian overpass connecting Gülseren Altıner Street and Altınoğlu Street. Until the overpass to be removed within the scope of the work is rebuilt, the D-100 North and South pedestrian connection will be provided with the existing pedestrian overpass at a distance of approximately 240 meters in the direction of Edirne.
WHICH ROUTES CAN BE USED?
The D-100 Highway Ankara Direction will be transferred to the D-26 South Side Road from the "Avcılar, Firuzköy, Esenyurt" entrance on December 00.00 between 06.00-100. For vehicles going in the direction of Ankara, the D-100 connection will be cut from the intersection of Defne Street and the D-100 Side road, and a transition to the side road will be provided. D-100 Highway (Edirne Direction) Between the hours of 27-28 on 00.00-06.00 December, direction will be provided from the "D-100 North Side Road, Gümüşpala, Deniz Köşkler" entrance to the D-100 North Side Road. Participation in D-100 will be ensured again at the junction of D-100 Avcılar Istanbul University Front. D-100 North Side road (Edirne Direction) will be directed to Gayretli Street from the "Mercan Street" entrance between 29-30 on 00.00, 06 December. From Zabit Street, the D-100 North Side road will be joined again.
