MUSIAD – ASELSAN 1st Industrialization Event was held at MUSIAD Headquarters. Speaking at the program, MUSIAD Chairman Mahmut Asmalı stated that Turkey has further strengthened its strategic position with the defense industry breakthroughs it has made in recent years. ASELSAN Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, on the other hand, emphasized that ASELSAN has a competent and wide ecosystem in all its achievements.
Organized under the coordination of the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) Defense Industry Sector Board, "MUSIAD - ASELSAN 1st Industrialization Event", MUSIAD President Mahmut Asmalı, ASELSAN Chairman and General Manager Prof. Dr. It was held at MUSIAD Headquarters with the participation of Haluk Görgün and sector representatives.
In the program, which started with the opening speech of Fatih Altunbaş, Chairman of the MUSIAD Defense Industry Sector Board, developments in the defense industry were discussed comprehensively, and evaluations were made for the sector.
Making statements within the scope of MUSIAD – ASELSAN 1st Industrialization Event, MUSIAD Chairman Mahmut Asmalı said that Turkey has further strengthened its strategic position with the defense industry breakthroughs it has made in recent years.

“Turkey has further strengthened its strategic position with its defense industry breakthrough in recent years. While our country has gained attention with the high-level technologies it has developed, it has gained the capacity to carry out all kinds of operations within and beyond its borders without any problems. As the leading member of NATO, the world's largest defense pact, we believe that our contribution to regional and world peace will increase as we develop our national defense industry. Our defense industry now has a structure that produces its own unique products in a wide range thanks to its main contractors, subcontractors with advanced capabilities, SMEs, research institutions and universities, which are in the top 100 list in the world. In particular, we have become a leading country in the design, production and sale of armed unmanned aerial vehicles. In the defense industry, beyond meeting today's needs, investments are made in the technologies of the future, the vehicles of the future, and the products of the future. Ambitious projects are being produced in the field of land, air and sea vehicles working on the basis of artificial intelligence. We stand out with our domestic and national technologies in every field that will meet the needs of the future, such as herd UAVs, unmanned sea vehicles, unmanned warplanes, electromagnetic guns, laser weapons and satellite systems. Undoubtedly, these successes add strength to the construction of the Turkish Century.”
