Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which stands by the capital's tradesmen with the projects it has implemented, pressed the button for the renewal of the flower sales areas on Sakarya Street. Within the scope of the "Sakarya Street Flower Sales Areas Renovation Project" of the Department of Science; It will renovate 200 shoe shine, 1 warehouse and 1 shops in an area of ​​14 square meters. The project is aimed to be completed in the spring of 2023, while temporary tents are set up in the region so that the tradesmen do not suffer and can continue their business.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which supports the Başkent tradesmen with the projects it has implemented and works towards their needs, pressed the button for the “Sakarya Street Flower Sales Areas Renovation Project”, which is among the 110 projects promoted by Mayor Mansur Yavaş in June.

In project scope; The flower sales areas on Sakarya Street, which has become the bleeding wound of the capital due to the lack of work for years, will be renewed and put into service.

MODERN STORES WILL BE BUILT

ABB, which built the Fish Market in Yenimahalle Wholesale Market, which had previously completed its economic life due to neglect and no longer meets the needs of the fishermen, has now started working for the florist tradesmen on Sakarya Street.

With the project to be implemented by the teams of the Department of Science; 200 warehouse, 1 shoe shine and 1 shops will be rebuilt in an area of ​​14 square meters.

As part of the works, while the old shops were being demolished, large tents were temporarily set up in the area in order to prevent the tradesmen from being victimized, to continue their work and not be affected by the cold weather conditions.

ABB teams; It aims to complete the "Sakarya Street Flower Sales Areas Renovation Project" in the spring of 2023 and to deliver it to florists in a short time.

Florist tradesmen, who continued to sell in tents temporarily set up in the region until new work areas were built, expressed their satisfaction with the project with the following words:

Halil İbrahim Külban (artisan): “I have been doing floristry on Sakarya Street for 36 years. Our president prepared a temporary place for us, we were not left out. Mansur President had promised us because there was a need for innovation here. Now he keeps his word. Many thanks to him.”

Metin Acar (artisan): “I've been here for 30 years. There is great joy in us right now. This place has been a bleeding wound for many years. We were working but we were working unhappily, we wanted this place to be renewed and refreshed. In the past, we had no hope. However, when Mansur President came, we were hopeful. They helped us. We trust Mansur President very much, we thank him very much.”

Ece Acar (tradesman): “First of all, we would like to thank our President Mansur. It's been very good for us. We were working in a very rundown and very cold area. Now it will be better, we will work under better conditions. Thank you very much."
