Being aware of this historical responsibility, we have prepared a comprehensive program for the period starting from September 9, 2022 until October 29, 2023. The 2023 New Year's concert that Gülşen will give is one of the important milestones of this process. That evening, all of Izmir will celebrate not only the New Year's, but also the fact that the calendars show the centennial of our Republic. We hope to meet all the people of Izmi in Gündoğdu Square on the evening of December 31," he said.
The celebration program of the Metropolitan Municipality will start at 21.00 with the performance of DJ Özgür Güler. Gülşen will take the stage at 22.30. The singer, whose house arrest decision was lifted on September 12, will give his first public concert in Izmir.
First Kordon will be closed to vehicle traffic
First Kordon will be closed to traffic on the night of 31 December in order to avoid problems in transportation. Entry and exit will be provided from 4 points. The points that will be open to pedestrian traffic are as follows; Ali Çetinkaya Boulevard, Doctor Mustafa Enver Street, Vasıf Çınar Boulevard and Gündoğdu Square.
