Industrial technology company Rolls-Royce announced the appointment of Tufan Erginbilgic as CEO of Rolls-Royce Holdings. Erginbilgic will replace Warren East, who announced on February 24, 2022 that he will leave his post at the end of this year, on January 1, 2023.

Tufan Erginbilgic, who has an engineering background and has worked in many international companies, has been continuing his career at BP for more than 5 years, 20 of which were in the management group. Before leaving his last role in 2020, Erginbilgic headed BP's sub-business unit, which included Refinery, Petrochemicals, Service Station Network, Lubricants, Midstream operations and Air BP jet fuel operations.

During the successful tenure of the Turkish executive, the business unit experienced a great transformation, achieving record profitability and record security performance. Erginbilgic, who has also served in various management levels of heavy industry and manufacturing companies, including the aerospace technology group GKN, is currently the CEO of Global Infrastructure Partners, a private equity firm that focuses on large-scale investments in infrastructure businesses and manages an 81 billion dollar fund for investors. Tufan Erginbilgic is still the multinational transport vehicle manufacturer Iveco Group NV; He is a board member of the energy, health and technology group DCC plc and the energy company Türkiye Petrol Rafinerileri A.Ş. (TÜPRAŞ). Erginbilgic is expected to reconsider his duties in these positions in the coming period.
