The 2nd China International Consumer Goods Expo started today in Haikou, Hainan province.
A total of 100 brands from 30 countries participated in the fair, which was held on an area of 61 thousand square meters and will last until 2 July.
As France participated in the fair as a guest country this year, French President Emmanuel Macron congratulated the opening of the fair via video.
Two sympathetic monkeys, Yuanyuan and Xiaoxiao, became the mascot of the fair.
This year's fair covers a larger area and more companies are participating in the fair.
While the fair area increased from 80 thousand square meters to 100 thousand square meters, the number of brands participating in the fair increased from one thousand last year to 2 thousand 800 this year. In addition, more accurate products were prepared for customers.
The aforementioned fair is also known as the Hainan Expo.
