Ordu Bicycle Festival, organized in cooperation with Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, TIEBFest Bicycle Festivals Organizing Committee, Co-Pedal Association and Ordu Bicycle Safari Group, has started. While the first stop of the bicycle enthusiasts is the Metropolitan Municipality, the bicycle lovers will meet with the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, Dr. Met with Mehmet Hilmi Guler.
Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, which has made a name for itself by successfully carrying out many national and international organizations in recent years, is signing another new organization. More than 26 bicycle enthusiasts, 30 of whom are tandem bicycles, are participating in the Ordu Cycling Festival, which was held for the first time this year.
BICYCLE FANS MEET WITH PRESIDENT GULER
Cycling enthusiasts gathered at the Ordu Aquatic Sports Center and Campground, built next to Ordu-Giresun Airport, and started the 3-day festival. The first stop of the cycling enthusiasts, who started to pedal from Gülyalı and will visit the unique beauties of Ordu from its bar, during the festival, was Ordu Metropolitan Municipality.

Emphasizing that they hosted many organizations and built bridges with the Ordu Bicycle Festival, Mayor Güler said, “It is a very meaningful festival, it is extraordinarily beautiful. You have added meaning with your participation. The army is yours. When you say Ordu for 3 months, not 12 months, you can experience 4 seasons in Ordu. You, with your intellectual identities, give very good meanings to the sport of cycling. At the same time, you are doing this sport with our disabled brothers. Any of us can be disabled at any time. We must always be prepared for this. You came to our city from 26 provinces, we want to build bridges of friendship with you. We do sports in 14 branches in Ordu. We have canoes and sailboats. You can see all the beauties and every detail of Ordu. We love you very much. May God protect each of you from accident and trouble.

The President of the Co-pedal Association, Fatih Söylemez, who took the floor in the program, thanked him by stating that they will carry out activities in Ordu with the support of President Güler. Stating that it is a very good organization, Söylemez said, “Eşpedal started to be organized all over Turkey. We have headquarters in many cities. With the support of our Ordu Metropolitan Mayor, Hilmi Güler, there will now be a co-pedal in Ordu. From now on, co-pedals will begin to roam the streets of Ordu. After the Yason trip, Ordu springs will host cycling enthusiasts. Cycling lovers will have the opportunity to see the beauties of Ordu by driving on the route between Çambaşı Plateau and Topçam. The festival will end with the Boztepe ride on its last day.
