President Soyer said that they have created a clear, scientific roadmap on how to clean the Gulf and said, "We are implementing this plan with patience and full determination."
“IzTransformation project for harmony with nature”
Underlining that they are the first municipality in Turkey to accept green infrastructure as an infrastructure issue, Soyer said that at the end of the period, 35 Living Parks surrounding İzmir city center will be put into service, and the amount of green space per capita in the city will increase from 16 square meters to 30 square meters with recreation areas of millions of square meters. expressed.
Emphasizing that they are also working on a household scale to harmonize Izmir with nature, Soyer explained in detail the IzTransformation project, which puts an end to the concept of garbage in Izmir.

One of the topics that President Soyer included in his presentation was İzmir Electricity Supply Joint Stock Company (İZETAŞ), established within the body of İzEnerji. Soyer emphasized that IZETAS, which aims to meet the energy needs of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and its subsidiaries, will save a total of 1 billion 485 million liras over today's prices at the end of five years, and stated that this practice is an exemplary model for Turkey.

Speaking about the rail system projects, Soyer said that the Narlıdere Metro and Çiğli Tram will be put into service in the centennial of the Republic, the 28-kilometer Karabağlar Gaziemir Metro, the 27.5-kilometer Otogar Kemalpaşa Metro and the 5 km-long Örnekköy New Girne Tram line are new routes to be brought to İzmir. . Soyer stated that the Buca Metro, which they started to build, is the biggest investment made by a municipality with its own resources in the history of Turkey, and the biggest project in the history of İzmir.

President Soyer gave information about the projects for the development of Izmir tourism and explained the reasons for his opposition to the Cesme project put forward by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Soyer also talked about the Terra Madre Anatolian gastronomy fair, which will be held in September in parallel with the Expo 2026 and İzmir International Fair, which will be hosted by İzmir.

One of the important topics that President Soyer included in his presentation was the work of the “Emergency Solution Team”. Saying that they have quickly resolved the problems of the disadvantaged neighborhoods in the city center in the last two years, Soyer also talked about the projects for the Children's Municipality, Youth Municipality, Fairy Tale Houses, the Social Life Campus, which provides holistic services to women under the name "Key", women's employment and their projects for the disabled one by one. Underlining the importance of studies in the field of social work, Soyer said, “We started to distribute meals to 4 thousand people daily at Dokuz Eylül, Ege, Katip Çelebi universities and İzmir Institute of Technology. Again, we have turned the six points leading to your schools into “Soup Stop”. We provided educational support to 5 university students with a total of 547 TL for eight months," he said.

Stating that they started the Stray Dog Rehabilitation Project with the Izmir Chamber of Veterinarians, Soyer said that with this exemplary project, which is the first and only in Turkey, dear friends are marked with ear tags and microchips, and they are instantly monitored, and that the sterilization services provided by the municipality are provided by the Veterinary Chambers. He mentioned that they have significantly increased the number of sterilized animals by including their capacity.
