The Russian army, which attacked Ukraine from the northern, eastern and southern fronts, landed in the city of Kherson, which it captured, by armored train.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reports that the armored train entered the territory of Ukraine for the first time and that 248 foreigners were evacuated from the war zone. It is reported that the train departing from Kherson, which was held by the Russian invaders, arrived in Armyansk on the Crimean Peninsula.

However, there are reports that the train was not used for evacuation, but to take heavy weapons to the front line. There were also ZU-25-23 type machine anti-aircraft guns on the train, which was displayed 2 kilometers north of the city of Melitopol. The ZU-23 is used for low-flying warplanes and ground targets.
It is recorded that rockets were loaded on the train with two locomotives and eight wagons with the huge letter Z on it. Behind this trio in front is a boxcar, a car, a flatbed car, two armored cars, a second locomotive, and finally another flatbed car. The flat bed in the middle appears to be carrying some kind of large cargo under the covers, while the last one looks empty.
In the images shared on social media, residents of Melitopol were heard chanting slogans against the Russian invaders as the train passed.
