Erciyes Ski Center held four important events at the same time, especially the "Snow Volleyball European Cup". Erciyes, which has become a global brand with its world-class facilities and tracks, hosted a separate organization at every door at the same time last weekend.
While the Snow Volleyball European Cup was held in Tekir Kapi region of Erciyes Ski Center, which has four different entry points; 18 different important activities such as the Austria-Turkey Winter Tourism Summit in the Develi Kapı region, the Traditional Sledge Turkey Championship in the Hisarcık Kapı region, and the 4 March Çanakkale Victory Celebration in the Hacılar Kapı region were successfully held on the same days.
Organized by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV), hosted by the Turkish Volleyball Federation and Erciyes A.Ş, the Snow Volleyball European Cup was held for the fourth time this year in Erciyes. The matches were played in Tekir Kapı area at 2.200 meters. In the international event attended by 9 teams from 18 countries such as France, Switzerland and the Netherlands, our Women's National Team had our flag hoisted as champions. Men's National Team, on the other hand, took the second place.
Kayseri Erciyes Inc. The Advantage Austria Winter Tourism Summit, which was organized in cooperation with the Austrian Trade Office and the Austrian Trade Office, was held in the Develi Kapı region. World-renowned Austrian companies of the ski industry and the managers of ski resorts in Turkey met in Erciyes. Representatives of ski resorts coming to Erciyes from all over Turkey and Austrian supplier companies had one-on-one meetings. At the summit, topics such as the impact of climate change on mountain tourism, winter and mountain tourism infrastructure, and financial support for tourism infrastructure projects in Turkey were discussed in the panels held. The Winter Tourism Summit, which lasted for two days in Erciyes, was completed with snowboard and ski races held among the guests.
On the same day, sled races, an ancestral sport with a 600-year-old tradition, were held by the Turkish Traditional Sports Branches Federation in the Hisarcık Kapı Region of Erciyes. 55 male and 20 female athletes competed in the Traditional Sledge Turkey Championship. In the Hacılar Kapı Region, the 18th anniversary of the 107 March Çanakkale Victory was realized with the activities held.
