After the news of "The construction of the cable car was stopped", the Sapanca Municipality made a statement, stating that there was no judicial decision to stop the construction of the ropeway in question.
The following statements were included in the statement: “The news titled “Court Stopped the Cable Car Project in Sapanca” in some press organizations does not reflect the truth, and the explanation regarding the subject is given below. Regarding the ropeway project, Sakarya 1st Administrative Court, with its decision dated 03.03.2021 and numbered E.2020727, K:2021/226, decided to reject the lawsuit filed against Sapanca Municipality without examining it. The decision was moved by the plaintiff to the court of appeal. According to the decision of Bursa Administrative Court, Second Administrative Case Department dated 10.02.2022 and numbered E. 2021/2110, K: 2022/35, the file was sent back to Sakarya 1st Administrative Court for examination. According to the decision of Bursa Regional Administrative Court, Second Administrative Case Department, there is no decision to suspend and/or cancel the Ropeway Project.
