While 95 percent of female drivers preferred automatic transmission vehicles, the most preferred brand was Mini Cooper.

General Manager Selçuk Nazik said, “The pandemic witnessed a necessary transformation in the sector. City offices became even more important, and hourly rental became popular. While the most rents were in Istanbul, one of every three renters was women ”.

Car rental companies generated an income of approximately 2.7 billion TL. 2020 is expected to close with 3.6 billion TL car rental revenue. In 2021, we expect rental revenues to be around 8 billion TL, once the negative effects of the pandemic are over.

Nazik said, “There are nearly 212 thousand vehicles registered in the system by the supplier car rental companies on the Vivi platform. We are able to deliver vehicles at 60 locations in 91 countries around the world with active 2 supplier car rental companies. We aim to increase our customer portfolio by 700 percent by the end of 2020, and our main growth will be in 15. We are planning to increase the number of registered customers to 2021 thousand by the end of 2021 ”.
