The statement made about the logo on the club's social media account is as follows:
“Once upon a time, a movement was felt in the mysterious and magical lands of Mersin, among the vast greenery of the Taurus Mountains. In the heart of nature, one of the sacred creatures of Anatolia, the Anatolian Lynx, was quietly living its life. This powerful being, which fascinates with its beauty and inspires respect with its power, represented the soul and essence of Mersin.
Our ÇBK Mersin Organization, which set out with this source of inspiration, is now stepping into a new era! In the 2024-25 season and the following years, it symbolizes the Anatolian Lynx, located in the heart of Mersin, in its logo again.
We decided to change our color from dark blue to black in order not to forget the disaster of the century that occurred throughout our region, even after generations. Our new logo bears a powerful harmony of orange and black, reflecting the enthusiasm of citrus trees, the gift of Mersin's fertile lands.
With this new beginning, as ÇBK Mersin Organization, we once again emphasize our commitment to the natural beauties, cultural riches and passion for sports of Mersin. We have full faith that we will achieve great success together with this logo, which heralds a brand new season and an exciting future.
