Aktaş Holding, which is among the world's largest companies in the production of air suspension systems, continues to take part in organizations where the sector meets under one roof, especially for rail systems, where it has made significant investments recently.

Aktaş, which produces inputs for both anti-vibration and suspension systems in rail systems and the investments of rail systems, will attend the International New Generation Railway Technologies Conference, which will be held for the 6th time this year, hosted by Istanbul.

At the conference, Aktaş Holding officials aim to come together with sector representatives and establish new business contacts.

Aktaş Holding, which continues to develop its current activities with special productions for the defense industry in addition to its basic business areas such as Transportation & Automotive, Construction and Industrial, aims to become a part of this important sector with each product it produces for rail systems.

At the organization, which will be hosted by Silence Istanbul Hotel & Convention Center on September 12, 2019, senior executives of the railway industry will share information about current sectoral developments.

Investments will continue

Aktaş Holding CEO İskender Ulusay stated that as a company, the investment efforts for rail systems will continue at full speed.

Underlining that they are in significant advances especially for the Indian market, Ulusay said, “We started our first work on train bellows systems in 2008. From mid-2011, we entered a professional production structuring for the production and testing of secondary suspension systems. as well as the company with the investment we made for this area, we were the first company in Turkey train bellows. We work very closely with domestic rail system manufacturers. We will work with more companies in the coming period. Currently, certain collaborations with companies around the world continue on a project basis. Rail systems mainly related to our products so far this year we have produced for our customers in Turkey. Aktaş Holding products have been used in Istanbul and Bursa train lines for many years. At this point, as Aktaş Holding, we do not only focus on the local market in the rail systems suspension systems sector; We have also carried out important studies abroad in the Italian and Indian markets. We are on the way to become one of the most important suppliers of railways in India and Italy, one of the 3 most common countries in the world, by rail use. For India, we have designed suspension systems especially in rail systems as both air suspension and damping systems and we have started production. It is also currently the suspension system of the 5 OEMs in India we will send directly produce in Turkey. In addition, we have production targets for South Asia and North Africa region, especially China, through our factory, which operates in China. Therefore, the region is very important for us and we have serious targets for it. ”
