Bursa Metropolitan Municipality is renewing the way of Uludağ, which is indispensable for skiers in winter and daily vacationers in summer. It is planned to complete the works that bring together the Uludag road with quality and comfort before the holiday.

The Metropolitan Municipality, which has implemented many investments such as rail systems, new roads, smart intersections and public transportation in order to produce radical solutions to the transportation problem in Bursa, continues its efforts to make the existing roads healthier. Uludag Road, which is worn out due to heavy use, also relieves the tiredness of the years with the work of the Metropolitan Municipality. Rehabilitation work continues rapidly on the 4-kilometer section of Uludağ Road between Alacahirka and Gendarmerie. It is aimed to complete the works on the road, which will consist of approximately 10 thousand tons of excavation fill and 7 thousand tons of asphalt pavement, before the Eid al-Adha holiday. The transportation to Uludağ, which is flocked by skiers especially in the winter months and by the daily holidaymakers with its unique nature in the summer months, will become more comfortable with the completion of the works.

Bursa's most important brand

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş reminded that they allocate the lion's share of investments to transportation this year, as they do every year, and said that they have accelerated the projects that will make transportation breathe in this context. Reminding that they produce alternative solutions with new roads, bridges and intersections on the one hand, Mayor Aktaş said, “One of the important items in our transportation investments is the improvement of existing roads. We are renewing our main arteries, which are especially heavily used. Uludağ is one of the most important brands of Bursa, which welcomes visitors 12 months of the year. For this reason, transportation to Uludağ had to be made more comfortable. Hopefully, we will complete the asphalting work before the holiday break. Good luck right now," he said.
