There is a hike in transportation in Izmir. The commission decision, which includes a 10 percent increase in transportation, will be discussed at the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Council.
With the new tariff arrangement in the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, the increase in public transportation was decided.
1 new transportation will be effective as of January.
According to the new pricing decision, the new prices with 10 increase will be as follows:
In the use of metro, bus, ferry, tram;
Full ticket prices from 2.60 TL to 2.86 TL
Student and 60 age tickets from 1.50 TL to 1.65 TL
Teacher boarding will increase from 2 TL to 2.20 TL.
3 TL 10 ticket, 5 boarding ticket 15TL and 10 boarding ticket price was determined as 29 TL.
The "pay as you go" period is coming in İZBAN
New pricing has been introduced to İZBAN. The "pay as you go" period is coming at İZBAN. A new system was implemented considering the area between Aliağa and Selçuk.
For the first 25 mileage, the normal boarding fee will be reduced by 7, then 4 from the student, 5 from the teacher, then the full ticket per kilometer. In addition, a total of 4 prepaid (11.44 TL) will be charged to the card.
The card will be given to the boarding station. The reason for this is that when the system is taken from Selcuk, the system calculates the passenger to go to Aliağa. So when the passenger board reads again at the stop, the distance will be calculated and the amount will be returned. Only the mileage is cut.
The decision will be voted and finalized in the parliamentary session.
