TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu: Ankara Sivas YHT Line Should Now Be Completed

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the Ankara-Sivas high-speed train line should be completed in order for Sivas to become the center connecting both the north and the south, and the east and the west.

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu participated in the celebration program organized for the 120th anniversary of the foundation of Sivas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (STSO). He said that he was honored to be in Sivas, the city of the brave people, the Yiğidolar.

Commemorating Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu, the founding Chairman of the Great Unity Party (BBP), which gave the cultural center its name, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “I would like to commemorate the very precious son of Sivas and my dear friend Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu with mercy on the 12th anniversary of his martyrdom. With his faith, patriotism, struggle, honesty and good morals, he was a true Alperen.” said.

Stating that it was a special and meaningful day for Sivas, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We are together on the 120th anniversary of STSO, one of the most rooted institutions of not only our community but also our country. We should all be proud of our Chamber with its 120 years of experience and prestige, the institutional structure it has continuously strengthened, the projects it has implemented and the work it has brought to Sivas.” he said.

Thanking STSO President Mustafa Eken and all organs of the Chamber for their services, Hisarcıklıoğlu said: “We should all be proud of our Chamber, with its 120 years of experience and prestige, the institutional structure it has continuously strengthened, the projects it has implemented and the work it has brought to Sivas. I wish this 120-year-old plane tree many years of success. There is another beautiful event I saw here; Our Governor, Mayor, Chamber and Exchange President are all together. They have joined hands for the development of Sivas. Here they are thinking and working together on how we can make Sivas stand out by holding a 'Common Mind Workshop'. So when it comes to Sivas, all Sivas people are together. If there is unity in one place, your back is not on the ground. This is the formula of being a brand city. I see the effort and work done to make Sivas both an industrial city, an agricultural city and a tourism city.”

“Ankara-Sivas high-speed train line should now be completed”

Expressing that Sivas is a city that protects its values, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “I hope the future of Sivas will be as bright as its past. For this, the road that will connect the Black Sea and the Mediterranean via Sivas must be completed. In this way, Sivas will be connected to the sea and will have a port. It will also be easier for Sivas to export. Ankara-Sivas high-speed train line should also be completed now. Thus, Sivas should become the center connecting both the north and the south, and the east and the west.” used the phrase.

Governor Salih Ayhan, AK Party Sivas Deputy Semiha Ekinci, Mayor Hilmi Bilgin and STSO President Mustafa Eken celebrated the 120th anniversary of the establishment of the Chamber in their speeches.

At the ceremony, 60 and 40 year old members of STSO and tax record holders were presented with plaques, and the 120th anniversary cake was cut.

At the end of the program, the Antakya Civilizations Choir gave a concert.
