Ertekin Arslan stated that the railroads will be privatized and the state monopoly will be lifted with the law to be issued in a few months and said “TCDD will be restructured after this law. Infrastructure and Business Administration will be separated. A company called TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş will be established. TCDD sub will only deal with the structure. All third parties will be able to make transportation by paying the price from the existing infrastructure. ”
Turgay Ünlü also expressed that he was very pleased that TCDD had the desire to be closer to exporters and stated that the railroads in exports were so important.
