Visit to Kayseri Şeker from Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, Governor Gökmen Çiçek, Kayseri Deputies Ayşe Böhürler and Murat Cahid Cıngı, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç, Kayseri Beet Growers Cooperative Chairman Hüseyin Akay, Board Members and representatives of the sector attended the meeting. Minister Yumaklı noted the opinions and suggestions of the producers at the meeting and stated that they would rebuild the agriculture and forestry sectors together in the Turkish century.

Minister Yumaklı and his accompanying delegation, who came to Kayseri Şeker to meet with Kayseri Sugar Farmers, Kayseri Beet Growers Cooperative Chairman of the Board of Directors Hüseyin Akay, Kayseri Şeker Chairman of the Board of Directors Hurşit Dede, Members of the Board of Directors and Auditors, General Manager İsmail Gedik and many farmer enterprises. He welcomed me with flowers in front of his building.

Speaking at the meeting held in a very friendly atmosphere, Hüseyin Akay, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kayseri Beet Growers Cooperative, said:

With the breakthroughs Kayseri Şeker has made in recent years, especially the year 2023 has been a year of peaks for farmers. As a farmer organization, we are open, corporate, ready to be held accountable, we are transparent in all kinds of ways, and we do not have any secret practices from our farmers. We hope that our practices will set an example for other cooperatives in Turkey.” said President Akay; He thanked the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, the accompanying delegation and the farmers for their kind presence.

Kayseri Deputy Mr. Bayar Özsoy and Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç thanked Mayor Akay for providing such an environment and Minister Yumaklı for their presence.
