Premium car manufacturer Lexus showed the new LBX Morizo RR concept for the first time at the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon.
The world-launched LBX Morizo RR draws attention as the high-performance-focused concept of LBX, which represents the entry of the Lexus brand into a new segment. The concept vehicle continues to reflect the sophisticated design and ride quality of the LBX, which will be offered in the Turkish market in the first quarter of this year.
Breaking the mold in the luxury segment, LBX's high-performance concept vehicle was developed with the direct contributions of Akio Toyoda, the company's chairman and chief test pilot, also known as "Morizo".
The LBX Morizo RR concept is powered by a turbocharged three-cylinder engine producing 305 HP. It powers all four wheels through an electronically controlled system and Direct Shift eight-speed automatic transmission. All key elements of the car, including the body, suspension and tires, have been developed for performance. The development team applied technologies from the world of high-speed air racing to optimize the vehicle's aerodynamics.
