İZBAN on a trip to Torbalı without a ceremony

İZBAN is on a voyage to Torbalı without a ceremony: İZBAN starts its flights on Saturday, February 6, from 05:25 in the morning on the Torbalı line. Mutual flights from the end stations will continue until the last train leaving at 23.55 am. İZBAN will make 27 voyages a day in 76 minutes on this line, carrying its service to the passengers at the southern end of the city. According to the planning, Cumaovası and Menemen stations will be used as transfer points.
With the activation of the Develi, Tekeli, Pancar, Kuşçuburun, Torbalı and Tepeköy stations in Torbalı direction and the opening of the line, İZBAN will have a 110-kilometer suburban line. On the other hand, it will increase the number of stations from 32 to 38. With the extension of the line, it is expected that an average of 20 thousand passengers per day will be added from Torbalı direction and thus the daily number of passengers of İZBAN will exceed 300 thousand.
Although the opening of İZBAN's Torbalı line was postponed to a later date due to the visit of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Minister Binali Yıldırım to Kazakhstan, the operation will start on Saturday, February 6 as planned.
AK Party Izmir Deputy Mahmut Atilla Kaya announced that the voyages would start with the instruction of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Minister Binali Yıldırım. Kaya said, “Minister Binali Yıldırım gave an order, and it was agreed with the Mayor of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, Aziz Kocaoğlu. Our citizens will be able to travel from Torbalı to İzmir, from İzmir to Torbalı with İZBAN on Saturday, February 6. The official opening ceremony, which was postponed due to the fact that Minister Binali Yıldırım will accompany our Prime Minister's Kazakhstan program, will be held on another date. Minister Çavuşoğlu ordered the commencement of voyages, stating that the fact that the opening ceremony would be postponed would not prevent the service, therefore the line should be put into service as soon as possible.
