According to the statement made by İZBAN, 49-year-old Ali Güler, who came to the station to get on the train, came to the perole from the walking staircase as soon as the train closed its doors. Turning to the train, Güler got stuck between the set and the platform while the train was moving. Despite the intervention of the security units, Guler died at the scene.
