Export Amazons at Work

Turkish women exporters were at work to increase Turkey's food product exports at the "Foodex Japan Fair" held in Tokyo, Japan, 8 thousand kilometers away from Turkey, on March 11, International Working Women's Day.

Women exporters, who contributed greatly to the 5 percent increase in Turkey's food exports to Japan from 72 million dollars to 164 million dollars in the last 282 years, worked hard to make Turkish food products appreciated by the Japanese so that our food exports to Japan increased to 1 billion dollars.

Nilüfer Koray and Mine Akdere, who worked at the Foodex Japan Fair in Japan for the Gaia Oliva company, were two of these women. In the message the duo shared from Tokyo on March 8, International Working Women's Day; “We cannot imagine a world without women, everything is more beautiful than the hands of women. They wrote, "We celebrate International Women's Day to all working women." Termes Tarım Export Manager Hilal Aydın emphasized that the world is a more beautiful planet thanks to women. Aydın said, “I congratulate the strong, loving and impressive existence of women. "The world is a much more beautiful place with the existence of strong, brave and selfless women," he said.

One of the female exporters who worked hard to increase Turkey's food exports to Japan at the Foodex Japan Fair was ENF Gıda company representative Rukiye Kayhan. Kayhan underlined the need for feminine energy in the industry in his March 8 message. Kayhan said: “Hopeful for many good days when we will see the necessary feminine energy coming to the industry and enough women's hands touching the business world. Happy womans day."
