The Chinese State Railways Group put on sale train tickets for the upcoming Spring Festival holiday in China yesterday.
In the 40-day period, which is called "chunyun" in China and where the world's largest internal migration is experienced, those living in China will travel to spend the holiday in their hometown.
"Chunyun" will begin on January 7 and will end on February 15. Chinese New Year and Spring Festival will be celebrated on January 22.
Railway officials announced that they will work to combat the epidemic and continue transportation activities in a coordinated manner during the Spring Festival traffic.
With the relaxation of epidemic measures in China, it is expected that the travels that will take place during the Spring Festival in 2023 will increase.
