The 3.5 km Sefaköy - Beylikdüzü - Tüyap Metro, projected and financed by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) and serving 18.4 million people on the west side of the city, was not included in the 15 Presidency public investment program announced on January 2022. CONDITIONAL APPROVAL OF THE LOAN
In the November 2022 sessions of the IMM Assembly, the demand for foreign borrowing of 925 million 396 thousand 200 dollars for the Sefaköy-Beylikdüzü-TÜYAP Metro Line was unanimously accepted.

The line, which has been waiting for years, was not included in the 15 Presidential Public Investment Program published on January 2023. Since the line is not included in the program, the credit approved by the assembly will not be used.
