The 2nd International Antalya Yoruk Turkmen Festival, organized by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, will start with the Yoruk migration on Friday, November 3, at 10.00. Yoruk culture will be kept alive in all its aspects during the 3-day festival. Famous artist Haluk Levent will give a concert in the festival area on Friday, November 3.

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality is preparing to host the Turkish world with the 2nd International Antalya Yoruk Turkmen Festival. Final preparations are continuing for the festival, which will bring together thousands of Yoruks from Antalya, Turkey and abroad between 3-4-5 November.

A cultural feast will be held for 400 days in the festival area established on an area of ​​approximately 3 decares in Aksu District Solaklı District At Çayırı Location. Minister Muhittin Böcekinvited all the people of Antalya to the festival, which will be held with a wide participation on an international scale.

COLORFUL EVENTS

The 2nd International Yoruk Turkmen Festival will start on Friday, November 3 at 10.00 with the presentation of a wreath to the Ataturk Monument in Cumhuriyet Square. After the moment of silence and the National Anthem, the Yoruk migration will take place to Karaalioğlu Park. Events will start in the festival area at 13.00 on the same day. There will be many activities such as live music, equestrian acrobatics and archery shows, folk dance shows and concerts of guest groups from abroad for 3 days at the festival. Equestrian acrobatic shows, folk dances of guest groups from abroad, folk dance shows of guest municipalities and a concert of local artists will be held.

HALUK LEVENT CONCERT ON NOVEMBER 3

The official opening ceremony of the Yoruk Turkmen Festival will be at the festival area on Friday, November 3, at 18.00. At 19.45, the famous artist Haluk Levent will meet the people of Antalya at the festival area. Elif Buse Doğan will liven up the Yörük Festival on Saturday, November 4 at 19.30, and Ayşe Dinçer will bring color to the Yörük Festival on Sunday, November 5 at 20.00. Additionally, Ebru Özdemir, İsmail Baha Sürelsan Conservatory Turkish Folk Music Ensemble, Egemen Balkanlı and Emran Özdemir will also give a concert at the Yörük Festival. . Local artists from 14 districts of Antalya will meet the public at the festival on different days.

25 COUNTRIES PARTICIPATE

25 independent Turkish Republics will participate in the festival. International participants will hold cultural events. A platform will be created to promote Turkish handicrafts. 36 artists, 8 from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and 44 from women's cooperatives; will introduce handicrafts such as weaving, leather making, knife making and felt making. 81 Yoruk-Turkmen associations, foundations and cooperatives will be hosted. In addition, 25 municipalities at metropolitan, provincial and district levels will participate.

RING FROM EXPO AREA TO THE FESTIVAL AREA

At the festival, Yoruk culture, which has a deep-rooted history and has made Anatolia its home for a thousand years, will be kept alive in all its aspects. People from Antalya who want to attend the festival will be able to reach the festival area with non-stop and free shuttle buses after getting off at the Expo stop, which is the last tram stop. On the way back, the same shuttle service will be provided to the tram stop and from there to the city center.

Citizens coming with their private vehicles will use one-way transportation, Expo-solak line entrance and Perge exit. While parking of vehicles along the road is prohibited, a parking lot for 5 thousand people will be at the service of citizens.
