Nigeria made a deal with China for the construction of the main railway line: 5 signed a Nigerian Coastline Railroad Framework Agreement between Nigeria's Federal Transportation Ministry and China's Chine Civil Engineering Construction Company (Civil Engineering Company) in May.
The coastline will start from Calabar in the East and pass through ten states, linking Aba, Port Harcourt, Warri, Benin City and Lagos in the West. The whole line is about 650 km long and will be designed for trains running at 120 km / h. 22 station is planned on the route.
After that, Nigeria and China Company will start detailed negotiations to give the final form of the construction contract, estimated to be worth $ 12 billion.
