Ankara - Elmadağ Regional Passenger Train was sent off for its first voyage with a ceremony from the Historical Ankara Station on Wednesday, March 21.
Attending the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Osman Boyraz, TCDD Transportation General Manager Ufuk Yalçın, TCDD General Manager Veysi Kurt, MPs and other senior managers accompanied the first voyage of the train.
The Ankara-Elmadağ Regional Train, with a capacity of 136 seats, will depart from Ankara at 06.10, 12.25 and 17.40, and from Elmadağ at 07.20, 13.30 and 18.55, serving a total of 6 trips every day.
In addition, passengers will benefit from the regional train free of charge until the end of Ramadan Feast.
