Denizli Metropolitan Belediyespor Swimming Team added another success to their success by winning 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals at the Open Water Swimming Championship held in Edirne.

The metropolitan swimming team does not stop.

Open Water Swimming Championship organized by Turkish Swimming Federation was held in Edirne at the weekend. Denizli Metropolitan Belediyespor athletes, who participated in the competitions with 8 athletes, once again made the people of Denizli proud with their success. In the competitions, Denizli Metropolitan Belediyespor Swimming Team athletes İbrahim Burhan won the gold medal in the 1000 meter freestyle 11 age category, Tuna Pilat was the Turkish champion in the 3000 meter freestyle 13 age category, and Berkin Karagöz was the Turkish champion in the 3000 meter freestyle 14 age category. On the other hand, Emine Doğa Aktaş, athletes of the Metropolitan Belediyespor swimming team, came second in Turkey in the 1000-meter freestyle 11-year-old category, while Berkay Çağdaş Ülker came in third in the 1000-meter freestyle 11-year-old category.

Congratulating the athletes who once again achieved important success in the competitions held in Edirne, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan said, “Our Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Swimming Team athletes who participated in the Open Water Swimming Championship organized by the Turkish Swimming Federation in Edirne 3 gold, 1 silver, 1 He made us proud once again by winning the bronze medal.
