Antalya Metropolitan Municipality is preparing to celebrate April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day with the "23 April Children and Kite Festival". The Turkish Stars show will take place on Tuesday, April 19, as part of the Children and Kite Festival, which will include music and dance shows, competitions and many activities for children between 23-23 April.
Children of Antalya will celebrate April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day with enthusiasm with the Children and Kite Festival organized by the Metropolitan Municipality. The celebrations will start with the Love Cortege to be held between Atatürk Park and Cumhuriyet Square on Friday, April 19, and continue with demonstrations in Cumhuriyet Square at 16.30. Around 500 children from TRNC, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Tabriz, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Tatarstan, Romania, Estonia, Uzbekistan, Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan, Poland and different cities of Turkey will participate in the Love Cortege.
COLORFUL EVENTS WILL BE HELD
On Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21, International Children's Dance Performances will take place on the stage to be set up on the Glass Pyramid King Road between 13.00-19.30. Within the scope of the events, there will be entertaining activities such as giant mascots, inflatable playgrounds, wooden play stations and fairground games. Children will have colorful and enjoyable moments at the Kite Festival. It will give the children of Antalya an unforgettable holiday with concerts, colorful shows and mascot shows all day long in the same area.
TURKISH STARS SHOW
Within the scope of the program prepared by the Department of Culture and Social Affairs of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, workshops and stand activities of schools will take place on Tuesday, April 23, at the Glass Pyramid King Road between 12.30-17.00. The Turkish Stars show, which will be held on Tuesday, April 23 at 16.00 at Konyaaltı Beach, will add color and excitement to the April 23 celebrations.
15TH CHESS TOURNAMENT
As part of the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebrations, the 19th Chess Tournament of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality will be held at the Glass Pyramid on 20-21 and 15 April. Children aged 5-6 and 7-12 will compete in various categories in the tournament. Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Services Department will organize the April 2015 National Sovereignty and Children's Day Football Tournament with the participation of children born between 2018 and 23.
