The Regulation on the Amendment of the Regulation on the Inspection Board of the General Directorate of State Railways of the Republic of Turkey was published in the Official Gazette today. The article of the regulation regulating the appointment of the chairman of the inspection board was also changed from the beginning.

REPUBLIC OF TURKEY STATE RAILWAYS MANAGEMENT GENERAL DIRECTORATE AMENDING THE REGULATION OF THE INSPECTION BOARD
ARTICLE 1- “On Appointment Procedures for Top Level Public Administrators and Public Institutions and Organizations no. The phrase “Article 30 of the Presidential Decree” has been amended as “relevant law, decree law or Presidential decrees”.
ARTICLE 2- Article 40 of the same Regulation has been amended as follows.
"Article 40- Appointments are made to the Presidency of the Inspection Board from among the inspectors who have served as an inspector for at least 5 years, including assistant inspectors in public institutions and organizations.
ARTICLE 3- This Regulation shall enter into force on the date of its publication.
ARTICLE 4- The provisions of this Regulation are executed by the General Manager of the State Railways of the Republic of Turkey.
