The news of the death of Yüksel Aslan, who has been working in Osmangazi Municipality since the day it was founded, devastated his colleagues. Hundreds of municipal staff gathered in the municipal garden, recited prayers and sent off their colleagues to the eternal journey.
Osmangazi Mayor Erkan Aydın said, “I have known our brother Yuksel for many years. We had the opportunity to work together when I was the President of DAĞDER. He was a very good person. He was an elder that we valued very much. He provided important services for Osmangazi Municipality. His contribution to the municipality is great. May God have mercy on him and I offer my condolences to his relatives. We lost him early. My condolences to all of us. "May God rest his place in heaven," he said.
After the ceremony, where emotional moments were experienced, Yüksel Aslan was sent off on his last journey in tears. Mayor Aydın did not leave Aslan alone on his last journey by attending the funeral prayer at the Hacı Hidayet Ener Mosque in Çirişhane District. After the funeral prayer, Aslan was buried in Orhaneli Dağgüney Village Cemetery.
