Huge partnership in nanotechnology

Giant partnership in nanotechnology: ASELSAN and Bilkent University have established a joint company for the production of high-power nano transistors. The company will produce integrated circuit used in radar, high-speed train, electric vehicle and 4G telephone systems.

ASELSAN and Bilkent University established a company called Mikro Nano Teknolojileri Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ (AB-MikroNano) for the production of high-power nano transistors. The company for the first time in Turkey, radar, high-speed trains, electric cars and 4G mobile systems, such as transistors gallium nitrate used in many different areas and will make integrated circuit production. According to the statement made by ASELSAN, ASELSAN Chairman Hasan Canpolat and Bilkent University Rector Prof. Dr. Abdullah Atalar signed it.

TESTS COMPLETED

The gallium nitrate semiconductor material-based nano transistor technology, supported by TÜBİTAK and the Undersecretariat for Defense Industries, was developed nationally by ASELSAN and Bilkent. High-performance transistors were produced at the Bilkent University Nanotechnology Research Center. The transistors, whose laboratory tests were completed, were successfully used in the field tests performed in ASELSAN. As a result of the results obtained from the produced transistors exceeding the targeted performances, ASELSAN and Bilkent management decided to establish a joint company in this regard. Thereupon, AB-MikroNano company was established.

FIFTED COUNTRIES

EU-mikronano established with an investment of $ 30 million, for the first time in Turkey and will make electronic commercial transistor integrated circuit production. Nanotechnology-based products produced by the company will also be exported. for these products in nanotechnology, consumers who could not so far from the world league Turkey will take place in the manufacturer league now. Meanwhile, Turkey semiconductor material gallium nitrate-based nano-transistor technology in the world has been one of the five countries that developed.
