'The Story of the Quilt' Will Be Presented at the Milan Contemporary Art Fair

''At the MILAN Contemporary Art Fair, 'The Story of the Quilt' will be introduced by transforming traditional quilts into contemporary art paintings.''

Contemporary Artists, who are in Paris for the third time to participate in the UN-FAIR Art Fair, known as the important art fair held every year in Milan, and were founded in 2015, are part of the Association called Paris /l'Association des Artistes Contemporains de Turquie a Paris, in short ACT. Great interest is expected in the project prepared by Founder and President Nazan Aktan. 'The Story of the Quilt' will be exhibited in Europe for the first time after Miami at the important art fair supported by the General Directorate of Copyright of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey. Aktan's project aims to transform traditional art quilting, which has begun to disappear, into contemporary art and re-introduce it to art lovers. Under the leadership of Nazan Aktan, it is aimed to revive traditional handmade quilts by turning them into contemporary paintings with a contemporary concept. 'The Story of the Quilt', an Anatolian custom and craft that will be exhibited at the 3rd UN FAIR Milan art fair, will meet with world artists on the same platform.

At the fair held between 29 February 2024 - 3 March 2024, Gallery ACT CONTEMPORARY (booth F9), which will represent Turkey, will meet art lovers in Milan.

ACT CONTEMPORARY will continue on its way, after Milan, to London, Stockholm and Miami fairs in 2024.

UN-FAIR ART FAIR MILANO is organized and curated by Act Association president Nazan Aktan.
