Istanbul Road Eryaman Connection Junction Tender on February 14

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has completed its work for the Istanbul Road-Eryaman Connection Junction. The tender for the construction of the interchange, which will consist of a total of 8 lanes, and the valley bridge, which will consist of a total of 4 lanes, will be held on February 14, 2024.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality took action to ensure safer entrances and exits to Eryaman from Istanbul Road.

After the zoning plan of the Bridge Junction and Pedestrian Crossing project previously prepared by the Metropolitan Municipality was canceled as a result of the lawsuit filed by the Ankara Branch of the Chamber of City Planners, the Department of Technical Affairs and the Department of Planning and Urbanization prepared a new zoning plan.

In line with the approved current development plan, a construction tender will be held on February 14, 2024 for the construction of the new Bridge Junction and Valley Bridge to be connected to the Istanbul road.

Sharing about the Eryaman-Istanbul Road Connection Junction on his social media accounts, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş said, “After the cancellation of the first project, we are holding the construction tender for the Istanbul Road-Eryaman Connection Junction on February 14. "We aim to provide safer entrances to the region, ease traffic and prevent accidents," he said.

TRAFFIC WILL BE RELAXED, ACCIDENTS WILL BE PREVENTED

In the project, which aims to ease the traffic in the region and prevent accidents, the Department of Technical Affairs; Göksu District will be built after the entrance gate on Istanbul Road, with an 800-meter-long crossroads consisting of 4 lanes in total, 4 outgoing and 8 incoming, and a valley with a length of 150 meters consisting of 2 lanes in total, 2 outgoing and 4 incoming, to Akıncılar Street. The bridge will provide a connection to Bozüyük Street.

After the project is completed; A second entrance and exit route will be created for citizens who want to reach the Eryaman region and will serve as an alternative to the 1st TBMM Street.
