The International Bursa Festival, which has the title of Turkey's longest-running international festival, met with the people of Bursa for the 61st time.
Organized for the 61st time this year by the Bursa Culture, Art and Tourism Foundation (BKSTV) on behalf of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, under the main sponsorship of ATIS Group of Companies, the XNUMXst 'Bursa International Festival', sponsored by Uludağ Premium, is the event of the famous songwriter and pianist Karsu and Bursa. It started with the magnificent concert of the Regional State Symphony Orchestra.
After the 7th International Golden Karagöz Folk Dance Competition, which was held between 12-35 July this year and colored the whole city, came to the first place in Mexico, it was time for the magnificent festival concerts at Kültürpark Open Air Theatre. The first guest of the 61st International Bursa Festival was the famous songwriter and pianist Karsu and the Bursa Regional State Symphony Orchestra.
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş, who made an opening speech at the festival before the concert, expressed his gratitude to everyone who participated in the 31st International Bursa Festival, which will last until July 61st. Reminding that the 35th International Golden Karagöz Folk Dance Competition, which was completed with the championship of Mexico, gave a cultural feast in 5 districts of Bursa for 17 days, Mayor Aktaş said, “I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this caravan for 61 years. We owe our gratitude to our mayors, foundation presidents and sponsors who have contributed since the first day. Bursa, which is one of the most colorful cities of our beautiful country, gains even more value especially because it is home to different civilizations. We will continue to take care to protect this value and all our values.”
Sadi Etkeser, Chairman of the Board of Bursa Culture, Art and Tourism Foundation (BKSTV), stated that they are happy to bring the people of Bursa together with the International Bursa Festival for the 35st time, after the 61th International Golden Karagöz Folk Dance Competition. Etkeser thanked everyone who contributed to the realization of this festival for 61 years and all Bursa residents.

Karsu fascinated
After his speeches, the Bursa Regional State Symphony Orchestra first took its place at the Open Air Stage under the conductorship of Naci Özgöç. The famous artist Karsu joined the orchestra, which welcomed the audience with his first instrumental piece. Taking the stage in the most important organizations of the world in countries such as America, England, Germany and France, Karsu has become one of the most important representatives of our country in recent years, with the concerts given by the British Royal Family and the heads of state of many countries. After the Eastern Earthquake, the famous songwriter and pianist, who won the hearts with the aid organization he organized in the Netherlands for the whole earthquake region, together with the Karsu Village of Hatay, after which he took his name, interpreted the song "Eller Gibiyim", composed by İlhan Şeşen, with the music of the orchestra. Afterwards, Karsu took the piano and presented many local and foreign works to the art lovers of Bursa with her unique interpretation. Karsu, who received great applause from the audience at the concert where she sang "Where Are You", won a throne in the hearts of those who attended the festival with her sympathetic attitude.

As every year, Bursa's art lovers will experience summer evenings full of music at the International Bursa Festival, which is the longest-running festival in Turkey. The world-famous Georgian dance group Sukhishvili will take the stage on July 16 at the festival, where famous artists will perform their works for their fans from Bursa. Right after Sukhishvili, on July 17th, the stage will be your legends. Famous voices of Turkish music, Ümit Besen, Cengiz Kurtoğlu and Arif Susam will come together on the same stage for the Bursa Festival.
Edis, Özcan Deniz, Muazzez Ersoy, Madrigal Group, Shantel, Azerbaijani singer Alim Qasimov, Hüsnü Şençiler, Dilek Türkan and Yıldız Tilbe will take the stage at the Open Air Theatre, where magnificent festival evenings will be experienced for 12 days in Bursa. In addition, the theatrical play Richard, starring Okan Bayülgen, will meet art lovers from Bursa.
