The iconic Fiat 500e is at the top in Europe once again

1957e, the new and fully electric version of the Fiat 500, which has been among the iconic models of the automobile world since 500 when it first met the world's roads, has become the most preferred electric model in its segment in Europe in 2023. Fiat 500e, the leader of its segment for two consecutive years, achieved a 14,7 point increase compared to 2022 with a 0,3 percent market share among fully electric (A+B BEV) vehicles in the A and B segments. The zero-emission model of the iconic 500 family continued to be the favorite of users despite the shrinkage of the segment and reached sales of nearly 65 thousand units.

Fiat 500e also attracted attention as the best-selling fully electric car within the Stellantis Group. Designed and manufactured in Turin, the 500e stands out as a symbol of Italian creativity. The 42e, which has been deemed worthy of 500 international awards so far, maintains its title as FIAT's most awarded model.

IT HAS REACHED MORE THAN 185 THOUSAND SALES SINCE THE LAUNCH

Evaluating the success of the Fiat 500e, FIAT CEO and Stellantis Global CMO Olivier Francois stated that the model has proven its success once again by maintaining its leadership among electric city cars in Europe for two years in a row and said: "Since its launch, more than 185 thousand units have been sold worldwide." It was sold for 500e and played an important role in the environmental transformation of international metropolises. Currently sold in 44 countries worldwide, the 500e continues the brand's worldwide electrification journey. We always put our customers' needs at the center; "We offer them easy, emotionally and socially appropriate solutions," he said.
