Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which started an infrastructure mobilization in the capital, carried out asphalt renewal work around Eymir Lake, where the new main transmission line to meet the drinking water needs of Gölbaşı district passes.

ASKİ General Directorate completed the asphalt construction process of the 8-kilometer road without harming the nature and opened it to the service of the citizens of the Capital.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which has resolved the problems that have not been resolved for years with the infrastructure move it has initiated throughout the city, renewed the asphalt of Eymir Lake, which is located in Gölbaşı district and is a frequent destination for the citizens of the Capital.

ASKİ General Directorate carried out asphalt renewal work around Eymir Lake, where the line passes, within the scope of the construction of the 26-kilometer "Mamak-Gölbaşı Drinking Water Line". While the project, which will solve the drinking water problem of 650 thousand people when completed, is progressing rapidly, the drivers also took a deep breath thanks to the asphalt work done meticulously without harming the nature and living things in the green area where the people of the Capital have picnics, nature walks, lake sports and ride bicycles.

EYMIR LAKE ACCESSS APPROXIMATELY 8 KM OF CLEAR ROAD

ASKİ has recently completed the asphalt construction works of 7 thousand 800 meters (approximately 8 kilometers), which it started after the production of the drinking water line passing through Eymir Lake.

Upon the request of Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş to speed up the works, 21 thousand tons of pmt sub-base material and 14 thousand tons of asphalt were laid on the road in the direction of Ankara, which circles Eymir Lake, and it was put into service.

The road, which has been one of the areas where potholes and deteriorations have occurred at many points for years and the people of the Capital have complained the most, gained a clean appearance after 17 days of asphalt renewal work.
