23 rail system lines are planned for Istanbul in the next 36 years. Some of this planning is under construction, some of the projects are being completed, some of them are projects and some of them are in the study phase. Among the planned rail system projects, the tram around the Golden Horn, Kabataş-Beşiktaş-Şişli-Giyimkent-Bağcılar Metro line and Havaray lines that are studied.
