Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu stated that they opened the Nenek-Şefaatli Line Section and the Tüpraş Connection Line Electrification Line to Operation, and that with the completion of the project, the 352-kilometer uninterrupted electric conventional line integrity between Ankara and Kayseri has been established. Underlining that they have increased the railway share in investments to 48 percent, Karaismailoğlu stated that they will increase the locomotive tow between the two cities from 700 tons to 800 tons with the electric train operation on the Ankara-Kayseri route, and said, “95 million liras from fuel oil and 11 million liras from emissions in a year. We will save money,” he said.

Explaining that they have developed the railways with new investments to support Turkey's logistics superpower claim, Karaismailoğlu said:

“With these works, we claim to be able to meet all your logistics needs in a fast, sustainable, environmentally friendly and low-cost manner. We are implementing our plans and investments one by one, not only in the east-west direction, but also in the north-south direction for our junction lines, logistics centers and ports. We will complete the 38 kilometer junction line connecting 34 OIZs, private industrial zones, ports and free zones and 294 production facilities. We will increase the share of railway in logistics to 45 percent. Our dream; It is to cover the four corners of the country with an uninterrupted railway line.”

Expressing that they will increase the locomotive tow between the two cities from 700 tons to 800 tons with the electric train operation on the Ankara-Kayseri route, Karaismailoğlu said, “We will save 95 million liras from fuel and 11 million liras from emissions in one year. In addition, we will prevent 35 thousand tons of carbon emissions. Our roads, like streams, add vitality to life in the places they pass and go. We know very well that each and every road we have modernized and put into service is instrumental in reaching the heart and love of this great nation. we see roads as 'symbols of civilization'.
