IZBAN's Torbalı line made its first voyage yesterday: The first flights on İZBAN's 30-kilometer Torbalı line started yesterday at 05.25 in the morning with the participation of Mayor Görmez.
The 30-kilometer Torbalı line of İZBAN, the largest urban suburban system of our country, was put into service yesterday morning. The first flights were made at 05.25 in the morning from Cumaovası and Tepeköy stations. Although it was a holiday, there was a lot of intensity at Tepeköy, Torbalı, Kuşçuburun, Develi, Pancar and Tekeli stations. According to preliminary data, the number of passengers using 6 stations has exceeded 5. The expeditions, which lasted throughout the day, continued until the last set departure at 23.55. For the first time, station and security guards and IZBAN personnel were present at the stations to assist citizens using suburban suburban system standards. While the brochures introducing the rail system were distributed to the citizens, it was ensured that everyone traveled without difficulty with the directions. Torbalı Mayor Adnan Yaşar Görmez participated in the first time in the project, which was carried out within the scope of the Izmir Suburban System and extended the existing Aliağa-Cumaovası line to Torbalı. The protocol, which took the metro from Torbalı, went as far as Cumaovası in the expedition, which also included the 3rd Regional Director of State Railways, Murat Bakır. Later, they used the same line and returned to Torbalı by high speed train. Mayor Görmez stated that with the arrival of İZBAN to the district, there was a holiday joy in the region, “Torbalı is a rapidly developing and growing district that motivates its surroundings with the synergy it creates.
