The 25th Apricot Festival continues to be celebrated in every part of Malatya with different events.
Photo exhibitions 'Four Seasons in Malatya' and 'Apricot's Adventure' were held as part of the festival. A total of 88 works were exhibited in both photography exhibitions.
As part of the festival activities, competitions for sewing buttons and threading beads were organized for women in Kernek Square. Prizes were given to the winners of the competition. In addition, sack and egg competitions were organized for children. Various gifts were distributed to the children in these competitions. At the Kemal Sunal Stage in the Mişmiş Park Fairground, theatrical performances, meddah performances and competitions were held for the children participating in the festival.
Folk dance teams from Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan, who come from foreign countries, who bring joyful moments to the people of Malatya, present their country-specific shows, and also make the people of Malatya experience the Apricot Festival to the fullest with their songs in Turkish and in their own language.
