İYİ Party Sivas Provincial Chairman Volkan Karasu reacted to the increase in the Ankara-Sivas high-speed train ticket. Karasu commented, "It was real, it became a dream."
The recent increases in high-speed train ticket prices made by TCDD Taşımacılık, which deeply affected the people of Sivas, caused reactions from different segments of the society. The Ankara-Sivas high-speed train travel fee, which was determined as 312 TL in July, increased to 475 TL based on the latest increase.
This raise received a harsh reaction from İYİ Party Sivas Provincial Chairman Volkan Karasu.
Karasu said, “The government, which increases fuel prices every day, has now seized high-speed train tickets. Our citizens cannot ride their private vehicles anyway, and now we have seen the train a lot. This means that we will not leave the house anymore with this government. Going out of town to visit our patients or relatives has now become a dream. "I think AKP should adopt the slogan 'It was Real, It Became a Dream' instead of the slogan 'It was a dream, it became a reality.'" he said.
Karasu emphasized that the government remained insensitive to the economic problems of the citizens and said, "In such a critical period, I think that we need to be more careful and sensitive in order not to deal another blow to the already shrinking budget of the citizens." said.
İYİ Party Sivas Provincial Chairman pointed out that such increases increase the economic difficulties of the citizens and stated that he expects a fair and careful approach from the government.
