Among the items, there were items such as pants, shirts, umbrellas, glasses, jackets, laptops, organ, guitar, tablet computer, mobile phone, shoes, bicycle, bag and digital camera. The auction, which was held in a highly contentious and exciting environment, generated 7 TL in revenue. Stating that they have reached the highest income among the auctions held so far, EGO officials noted that the gold found was also sold by a commission formed. Revenue from items sold through auctions is recorded as revenue to EGO General Directorate.
WAS HELD ON THE OWNERS WITH 1 YEAR
After being forgotten by passengers in EGO buses, subway and Ankaray, the drivers and dispatchers deliver the items with information on them to the Lost Property Service. The list of items whose owners cannot be reached is published on the website of the EGO General Directorate with the title 'www.ego.gov.tr' every month. The list of lost items is also announced on Police Radio. If the owners of the items cannot be reached within a year, they are sold by auction. Participating in the auction, Mehmet Çelik stated that he gave 50 TL to the bicycle he bought for his daughter, and the student named Muhammet Özdemir said that he bought his dream guitar for 106 TL. Expressing that he finds the guitar he bought very high quality, Özdemir noted that this will take his first step into music.
