Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay opened the third stage of the 3,5-kilometer Necmettin Erbakan Street, which consists of three stages, to traffic.
Mayor Altay, who opened the third stage of the street to traffic by making the first drive with his official vehicle TOGG, said that they have made greater progress in an important work for Konya.
Noting that Necmettin Erbakan Street will be a 3,5-kilometer street starting from Fatih Street and connecting to Antalya Ring Road via Azerbaijan Street and Gaza Street, Mayor Altay said, “We are currently in the third stage of this street. The first 850 meters section; As of today, it is opened to traffic in three lanes with bicycle paths, sidewalks and medians. We are carrying out intensive infrastructure activities in the first and second stages. Hopefully, we plan to complete these in the spring months. We are bringing another 400 million lira worth of work to Konya, including approximately 100 million lira expropriation fee and 500 million lira infrastructure and asphalt cost. In particular, a new love linking the Meram region to the Seljuks was gained. We actually opened the street to service by carrying out its first drive today.
